Dear Mr. Madison,

We have made a list of the people rights and freedoms we believe are most important to Americans. We hope this will help you decide what to include in the Bill of Rights.

We the people have a right to learn, because if we didn't have education we wouldn't know how to read and write.

We also wouldn't be able to talk and understand each other. If we didn't have a right to learn we wouldn't be able to choose our career. We also wouldn't have technology.

We have a right to be treated fairly, because we don't want the whole world to be full of bullies. We all have a right to vote and not be bossed around. If we weren't able to be treated fairly every body would be treated by race and color. If one person has a right to do something every one should be able to do it.

We have a right to stop slavery, because if we didn't there would be too many wars. We need freedom and justice.

We shouldn't be separated from our families. People should be able to sit where ever they want to.

We the people have a right to be successful in life. If we were not successful in life we would not learn anything. We would not be able to participate in sports. If we were not successful we would not be smart and wouldn't be able to invent things.

We have a right to make money to support our families. If we weren't able to make money we wouldn't be able to pay for food and bills. We wouldn't have a place to sleep or a roof over our heads. We would starve and die of hunger and thirst. If we didn't make money we would be living on the streets.

We the undersigned agree that these rights and freedoms should be protected in the Bill of Rights.

Sincerely, Erika, Azura, Cody, & A.J (Andrew J.)
